There’s a lot to combat right now: stress, planning, family, etc…weddings have a way of taking their toll. If dark circles have started to plague your face, there are products and basic skin care rules that help shed light on the darkness. Continue reading to find out.
Lack of sleep is the number one cause of under-eye circles. The best way to prevent this is to log at least eight hours of sleep nightly, allowing plenty of time for your skin to rest and repair itself.
If stress is the issue, take immediate steps to ease it. Exercise, yoga, and therapy are great ways to discuss your stress and send it packing. If sweating it out doesn’t do the trick, find a therapist to help you deal with the strain you’re under.
Dark under-eyes can also be eased by certain foods. Eat plenty of leafy greens, such as spinach and broccoli, which contain high levels of vitamin A, vitamin B, and calcium. Fresh fruits, such as grapes, watermelon, blueberries, and oranges also banish dark under-eyes. The high water content, as well as the high concentration of antioxidants, in these foods promote healthy, glowing skin.
Just because you have dark under-eye circles now doesn’t mean you have to settle for them on your wedding day. Incorporate a few healthy living habits into your daily routine, and send the darkness packing.
